Steve Conrad

Steve Conrad has taught golf for over thirty years. His father was an avid golfer and Member at the country club where Steve started out as a golf caddy when he was eight years old. Steve started seriously playing at age 12 and quickly won several tournaments partnering with his dad and on his own. He coached his own college Team and was named Outstanding College Athlete in 1971. He amassed quite an Amateur playing record before becoming a golf professional. After college Steve became a high school instructor teaching Vocational / Cooperative education. He taught for many years and while there he was also the school's golf team Coach. Steve has been teaching golf exclusively now for ten years.

Steve has been a Golf Professional now for ten years, mostly teaching full time but also playing in tournaments too. He began teaching with the world renowned teacher Jimmy Ballard, and then five years ago began teaching with Natural Golf where he quickly became a highly respected member of the Instructional team and Educational team where he now recruits, trains, and certifies aspiring Teaching Professionals. While with Natural Golf Steve has been fortunate to watch and learn from the great Moe Norman, who Ben Hogan called "the best ball striker of all time", he also contributes to Natural Golf as a video instructor and model in instructional videos.

Steve is a passionate believer that: Golf is a game, and that we play games, and that games should be fun.

John Walton

Like so many golfers who found such joy in the game of golf, John has spent many hours searching for the magic every swing of the club promises. This journey began over 30 years ago and has traveled across the U.S. and to many foreign countries. John is Certified in Golf Club Fitting, Repair and Assembly. He is a USGTF (United States Golf Teaching Federation) graduate. John is also a Certified Substitute Teacher for the Charleston County School District. Over the past six years, John has co-founded and participated in The Golfing Experience, a Junior Golf Mentoring Program designed to expose inner-city youth to the many life lessons and opportunities that Golf offers. John believes, “Golf stands heads and shoulders above all other sports in offering long term success, growth, and development to our most precious commodity, our Kids.”

Steve Wilson

Steve Wilson grew up in Clearwater, Florida and spent 20 years as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army. This allowed him the opportunity to play golf over much of the world, including his favorite course – St. Andrews, of course!  After his retirement from the Army in 1997, Steve attended the Golf Academy of the South in Orlando, graduating with a degree in Golf Complex Management. While in Orlando, he worked as an Assistant Professional at The Mission Inn Resort.

Steve and his wife, Kathy, decided to make Charleston their home in 1999. Since then, he has worked at the Kiawah Island Resort, Snee Farm and currently, he is the golf instructor for the Wren Woods Golf Club at the Air Force Base.  These positions have provided him with ten years of teaching experience with private, group and junior lessons/clinics.

Steve’s philosophy of teaching golf is to help students make the game a lifetime sport, as well as build character skills through the etiquette and integrity that the game of golf naturally provides.

Jennifer Oidtman

Jennifer is a professional musician and an avid golfer.   She has participated in tournament golf for over 10 years.

With a degree in secondary education, Jennifer has taught Middle School, Jr., and High school levels in her home towns of St. Louis, Missouri and Washington DC.

Understanding the basics of golf, she knows how to make it fun so children will have a better chance of 'staying with it'.    Jennifer  also speaks and teaches beginning Spanish.

Chris Schaible

My love of golf started 30 plus years ago.  I took a group lesson and was hooked.

I have been involved with women's competitive golf for many years, either by playing in or organizing tournaments.  For the past eighteen months I have been the president of the Charleston Area Ladies Golf Association which has a membership of 19 clubs and approximately 280 women. I have also served as tournament chairman for the Snee Farm ladies golf association.

I feel golf is one sport that can enrich our children's lives more than any other.  It teaches integrity, sportsmanship and many more life lessons.  Golf will give a child a lifetime of joy.
