O.K. Golf Program Summary

O.K. Golf is bringing the golf course to your school. O.K. Golf offers an on campus, after school Junior Golf Enrichment Program, designed to develop each child’s passion for the game of golf while encouraging advancement and building self-esteem.
More and more younger players excel at the sport of golf due to the fact that they got an early start and were exposed to golf at an early age.
The newest rising star in golf, Michelle Wie appeared on the T.V. show, "Sixty Minutes" at the age of 14. Tiger Woods appeared on the “Merv Griffing Show” at the age of 3.
Kindergarten through the 8th grade is the best time to teach golf, because the brain is in the motor skill development stage.
OK Golf's trained Instructors will provide instruction to program participants at a ratio of no more than 10:1.
Ok Golf's instruction program involves the participants in all aspects of golf including; safety, rules, etiquette, proper motor skills required to strike golf shots, sportsmanship, and the ideal of proper pace of play.
Other life skills are a by product of golf instruction which include: sportsmanship, respect for others, honesty, thinking skills, goal setting, socialization and friendship development, and increased health through physical activity. |
